I’m an award winning writer and proven creative leader with over 25 years of experience. Currently, I am the Chief Creative Officer of Hill Holliday Group. This is an amazing collection of cross disciplinary minds who view every day as day one and a chance to start up something on behalf of our clients.
Prior to HHG, I ran two offices for MullenLowe (Boston & New York) and was responsible for getting the best out of hundreds of creative people. I oversaw the creative output for both offices, attracted and retained talent, managed the bottom line and most importantly articulated distinctive and consistent work against brand strategies.
Prior to MullenLowe, I was a writer/creative director at Modernista, the fastest growing small agency in the country. Before that, I was a writer/creative director at Arnold Worldwide.
I’ve shaped great purpose-built brands like JetBlue, E-TRADE, Royal Caribbean, Massachusetts Tourism, Capella and Strayer University, US Cellular, American Greetings, Navy Federal Credit Union, Humana, Burger King, Acura, Cadillac, Volkswagen and many more.
Some of the specific skill sets under my guidance are writing, art direction, design, digital design, strategy, comms planning, behavioral sciences, public relations, physical experience, media and more. Again, for me it's about helping everyone to see the potential of a big idea and building organizational ownership to make that happen.
I’ve won major international awards including over 40 Cannes Lions, the Cannes Grand Prix, the Grand Andy, the Grand Clio, the Grand Kelly and two Emmys for digital experiences. I’m equally proud of creating work that works, winning the gold Effie for sustained success for JetBlue, E-TRADE and JAMMRS, which stands for Joint Advertising Market Research & Studies for every branch of military service.
